Last week my homegirl and I embarked on our first ever road trip to Las Vegas as West Coast (semi)newbies. We were headed from Los Angeles to Vegas for one night only to see Anderson .Paak tear up the stage at the House of Blues. Though it took way longer than we anticipated (rookie mistakes), it was worth every minute of traffic. Major thanks to Paris Las Vegas for their hospitality. I’m not generally a fan of Sin City but their employees, location and accommodations were stellar.
Jacqueline, my traveling buddy, and I were in awe of how all the employees were so kind, friendly and helpful! When we needed directions, they walked us to where we were going. The Paris Las Vegas staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and always had a smile. Let me also note that we found delicious, quick and affordable food options at JJ’s Boulangerie. The quiche and salad, and crepes held us down after a long road trip…and the next morning after a (slight) hangover 🙂 The pool accommodations were also excellent as a chill afternoon reprieve from the desert heat. It wasn’t a massive dance party scene but that was the beauty of it. The DJ was jammin’, the lounge chairs were plentiful, and there was room to frolic in the water while making new friends and sipping drinks.
